Capstone Event

Each year in June
This event showcases how students design and build effective solutions to information problems that people and organizations face every day. Students serve as consultants to an organization and then develop the approach and methods needed to address the information problem, conduct the research and present the findings in both oral and written formats. The event is an action-packed evening of poster presentations, networking and hors d’oeuvres. Capstone project collaborators include organizations from the public, private and non-profit sectors.

View past projects and search by partners or programs in the Capstone section.

iSchool Career Fair

Each year in January or February
The iSchool Career Fair is a great way for businesses and organizations to develop relationships with outstanding students in the information field who are potential future interns and part- or full-time employees. This event has sold out in recent years and receives very positive feedback from students and employers.
