The Information School is excited to be hosting our career fair this year in person at the UW Seattle Husky Union Building on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026.

UW iSchool Career Fair

Date: Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026

Time: 11:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. PT

Location: 2nd floor Husky Union Building (HUB) Ballrooms, UW Seattle Campus

You will need to create an employer Handshake account (help article) or log in to your Handshake account in order to register.

Past organizations have used this fair to connect and hire for roles including application developer, cybersecurity analyst, data analyst, information architect, IT consultant, project manager, research associate, software developer, UX designer and much more.

As a participating employer/organization, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Connect with more than 800 current students
• Market your organization to the University of Washington, Seattle campus
• Advertise your current job openings, internships and volunteer opportunities
• Recruit information leaders and innovators of the future

*Special note for libraries: While library employers are welcome to attend the iSchool Career Fair, we encourage you to also participate in the upcoming GLAM (Government, Libraries, Archives, and More) Virtual Career Fair — a collaborative event series featuring employer sessions, career panels, and workshops designed for students in library, museum, and information fields. 

The 2026 GLAM Career Fair will take place in February 2026.
