A paper co-authored by Peter Ellis (MSIM '09) and Assistant Professor Kevin C. Desouza appeared in the most recent edition of Business Information Review. The article attempts to merge the topics of environmental sustainability and information management.
The paper emerged out of Ellis' work in Desouza's Information and the Management of Change and Finance and Accounting Foundations for Information Professionals classes. Based on their review of existing literature, Ellis and Desouza argue that information management increases in importance as concerns about environmental impact become more urgent.
The article, "On information management, environmental sustainability, and cradle to cradle mentalities," appears in Volume 26, Issue 4 of Business Information Review. You can find the article on the publisher's website (subscription required).
