Celebrating 25 years of the Information School

This event will bring together students, faculty, staff, alumni and students to celebrate 25 years of the Information School and the community that has shaped it. The gathering will feature a casual, happy-hour style atmosphere with food, music, interactive activities, and opportunities to connect across programs and generations.

- 3:00 | Event Start, Buffet and Bar Open, Tabling Activities and Scavenger Hunt with Information School Programs/Centers (will be active for full event)
- 3:20 | Welcome Video, Opening Remarks - Wes King
- 3:30 | Dean Panel: Anind K. Dey, Harry Bruce, Mike Eisenberg, Moderated by Dowell Eugenio (Theme: Leadership in the Information School During their Term, Future Visions)
- 4:00 | Meet-and-Greet with Dubs and Harry the Husky
- 5:15 | Performance by Low Key, Information School Choir
- 5:30 | Performance by Garfield High School Jazz Quartet
- 6:45 | Closing Remarks and Last Call
- 7:00 | Event Close
Know Before You Go:
- Open to attend for FREE to any Information School-affiliates who RSVP, including students, alumni, faculty, staff, donors and plus-ones noted in RSVP.
- Guests receive a complimentary drink ticket when checking in, and our caterer (Off the Rez) may check IDs to confirm all alcoholic drink requests are from guests over 21. Afterwards, alcoholic drinks are available for purchase. All food and non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary!
- Please note that photography, recording and filming will take place during this event for documentary and marketing purposes. There will be a way to opt out of photos, should you prefer.
- A quiet space will be provided for anyone needing a noise/stimulation break during the event.
