Susan Hildreth’s March 2017 saw her traveling to various U.S. cities, including San Diego, California, for the CENIC Annual Conference (Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California), from March 19-22. She went to Wichita, Kansas, where she presented the keynote address for “Changing the Perception of Libraries: The New Advanced Learning Library”, on March 28; and to Dayton, Ohio where she participated in “Building Strong: The Civic Role of Libraries in the 21st Century Research Exchange,” March 30-31. The Kettering Foundation sponsored the meeting. She, along with others, met with a delegation of librarians from Russia to compare and contrast opportunities and challenges in community engagement work. ...
