"Patient Information Rights and Access: An Exploration of Health Informatics and Population Health"
The health-care industry relies on the effective analysis and deployment of health data to ensure the successful management of patient care and health-care organizations. Undeniably, patients benefit from the collection and proper deployment of this information but may not understand their rights and other potential implications. We want to explore the nature of health informatics’ evolution as well as its personal, professional, technological and societal impacts.
This virtual panel, held in conjunction with UW Medicine, will discuss health informatics and, specifically, its impacts on health resource access for patients as well as its broader implications on population health.
This event is free and open to all.
