Mid-Career MSIM Degree Option
If you are a working professional who has five or more years of industry experience, consider the Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) Mid-Career option. This course of study lets you to maintain your current job while you pursue the graduate degree you need to advance your career.

Flexible Course Schedules
Core classes for MSIM Mid-Career students are held evenings or Saturday morning, while most electives are scheduled in evenings or online, to provide you with the maximum flexibility in planning your program while meeting your work and personal commitments. Mid-Career students are also welcome to attend elective course sections offered weekdays.
Focused Learning with Specializations
Students may choose to focus their electives in a specialization area; both the Business Intelligence and Data Science specializations are available in the evening weekend/format. Or, students may choose electives across the breadth of the curriculum for a broad-based degree in information management. The Mid-Career MSIM is a part-time program designed to be completed in two years, and requires a minimum of 47 credits. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in management or technology-related areas.
Students in the Mid-Career MSIM option have come from organizations such as Boeing, Microsoft, the Seattle Times, AOL, Washington State Department of Transportation, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Starbucks, among many others.
