The Office of Graduate Student Equity & Excellence, is thrilled to welcome incoming graduate students from diverse perspectives and experiences! GSEE aims to cultivate a social environment in which all graduate students can learn and thrive while attending the UW.

It can be incredibly challenging to move to a new city/region/country to attend graduate school. GSEE also recognizes how jarring it can be to return to life as an academic after many years in the workforce. Know that GSEE is here for you to help in fostering community and a sense of belonging as you begin your journey in graduate school! 

Join them via Zoom for a virtual meet & greet for incoming master's, Ph.D., and professional students. They will be hosting a student panel, as well as breakout rooms, to exchange strategies on transitioning to the UW (past topics have included: Community Building, Student Activism/Advocacy, Navigating Housing, and Free Chat.).
