Dr. Kim TallBear meet and greet

Join us for a meet and greet with Dr. Kim TallBear, Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Peoples, Technoscience & Environment, Faculty of Native Studies, at the University of Alberta. She is also a Pierre Elliot Trudeau Foundation Fellow. She is the author of "Native American DNA: Tribal Belonging and the False Promise of Genetic Science." Refreshments will be provided. The event is free, and registration is required.
Dr. TallBear's visit is being organized by iSchool Assistant Professors Clarita Lefthand-Begay and Miranda Belarde-Lewis. In addition to the meet and greet, Dr. TallBear will deliver a public lecture on Wednesday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m. in Kane Hall, room 120.
