Biography

Sophin Liu is a returning Guest Faculty Member (IMT 573: Data Science I: Theoretical Foundations ) and an MSIM alumnus at the University of Washington Information School. Sophin has over 8 years of industrial experience across healthcare, supply chain & finance industries and has been leading predictive analytics projects cross-functionally. Sophin is currently an Analytics Manager at a biopharmaceutical company. She is very passionate about promoting data democracy and applying machine learning knowledge to connect more rare disease patients with the appropriate treatment methods effectively.
