Biography

Jessica Rubenacker serves as a guest faculty member of the University of Washington’s Museology Graduate Program. She has over 20 years of experience as a practitioner in the museum field and arts administration, with a specialization in community-based exhibition development. Most recently, Jessica served as the Exhibits Director at the Wing Luke Museum. She also previously managed the City of Redmond’s Arts Program, overseeing the public art collection and cultural arts programming for the city. Jessica currently serves as an editorial advisor for Exhibition Journal (American Alliance of Museums). She holds an M.A. in Museology from the University of Washington, Seattle and received her B.F.A. in both art history and painting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
