Biography

Richard Sturman is an Associate Teaching Professor at the University of Washington Information School specializing in user-centered design, system analysis and design, and product development. He is passionate about user-centered design, thrives in diverse environments, and holds a strong belief that design and technology can be used to positively impact people’s lives. In addition to his work at the Information School, he has diverse experiences implementing innovative digital products and services. Richard has managed large, multi-disciplinary, international product development teams and driven complex new business development projects. He has a Master of Communication Design in Design and Visual Communications from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University.
