Biography

Gary Parilis is a Guest Faculty Member at the University of Washington Information School, focusing on evidence-driven approaches to understanding people and organizations. He is passionate about preparing students to thrive in data-informed, people-centered careers. Gary has spent his career using analysis and insight to understand human experience and guide organizational decisions, leading analytics and client-service teams, advising leaders, and translating findings into action. Earlier in his career, he taught at the university level, and after 30 years working with clients, technology, and data, he is excited to return to the classroom with practical, real-world experience to share.
