Biography
Crystal Yragui (she/her) is a Guest Faculty member at the Information School teaching LIS 531 (Catalogs, Cataloging, and Classification). Crystal also works full-time at the University of Washington Libraries as a Cataloger. A member of the Homosaurus Collective, Crystal serves as a Co-convener of the Homosaurus Implementation Board. She founded and serves as co-coordinator of the Orbis Cascade Alliance Homosaurus Implementation Project. Internationally, Crystal serves as co-chair of the Program for Cooperative Cataloging Identity Management Advisory Committee and Entity Management Cooperative Program (EMCO), is a member of the IFLA Bibliographic Conceptual Models Review Group, and co-leads the MARC21 Bibliographic to LRM/RDA/RDF Mapping and Transformation Project.
