Since founding his first company at age 24, Kabir has raised over $200M in venture capital and created billions in enterprise value. The company was acquired by IMS Health (NYSE: IQV) where Kabir went on to lead the commercial software business for the company. During his tenure, this business became the fastest-growing part of IMS Health and served as a cornerstone for its successful IPO in which he helped raise $1.5B.
Amperity, founded in 2016, has developed the world’s first commercially viable probabilistic database, with the collaboration of UW’s Dr. Dan Suciu. This technology now has 9 patents awarded by the US PTO and 5 additional pending. The company’s core business is in enabling consumer brands such as The Home Depot, Alaska Airlines, and Patagonia to develop and maintain a unified view of their customer. This technology drives the data pipeline for marketing, customer analytics, customer service, and finance at more than 400 brands worldwide today. Under Kabir’s leadership, the company was conceived, launched, and grew to more than $1B of enterprise value in just 5 years.
