Godgiven Grogan
Informatics, 2020
As of 2022, Godgiven was working as a Product Manager for GMR Marketing. Orchestrate is the product she works on, and it is an experience management platform used for enormous sports events all over the world. She reports: "We just started prepping for the Paris Olympics!"
Xiao Liang
MSIM, 2020
As of December 2020, Xiao was working as a tech lead of the mobile infrastructure team at Snapchat.
Tristan Macelli
Informatics, 2020
As of 2022, Tristan was working for Icon Technologies, a late-stage startup that 3D-prints full-sized houses on-site using a proprietary mix of concrete as the building material for the wall structures. Tristan works as a software engineer developing back-end services that manage the printer state, operator app alerts, and more.
Lilian Mburu
Informatics, 2020
As of 2021, Lilian was working in downtown Boston at Mass General Hospital, in its Oncology department as a System Design Engineer. She reports that she misses Seattle most days, but Boston is growing on her.
Alice McCrea
MLIS, 2020
As of 2025, Pearl was working as the Collection Management Librarian at the University of Washington Gallagher Law Library. She's been in this role since 2023, and worked as a library specialist at the law library prior to graduating in 2020.
Jared Nistler
MLIS, 2020
As of 2021, Jared was working as the Lead Systems Librarian at the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. The Ralph J. Bunche Library is the oldest federal library in the country, established in 1789 by Thomas Jefferson, the first Secretary of State.
Alex Park

Alex interned as a data analytics intern for summer 2020 at Puget Sound Energy and is converting to a full-time position as an associate application development analyst.
Anna Price
MLIS, 2020
As of 2021, Anna was working at the Law Library of Congress. She has been there since May 2019 after being hired about halfway through the iSchool’s MLIS program. Recently, Anna was promoted to the position of Senior Legal Reference Librarian.
Yiren Qu
Informatics, 2020
In 2022, Yiren joined Google as a software engineer III, which is a promotion and a new job.
Carli Reinecke

In 2021, Carli started as Associate Academic Librarian for the University of Wisconsin Green Bay at the Marinette campus.
