Julie Tanaka
As of 2026, Julie is Associate Dean for Distinctive Collections at the University of Washington Libraries, a role she returned to in Seattle in 2024. She also chairs the Rare Books and Manuscripts Section (RBMS) for 2026–27, teaches History of Recorded Information as Affiliate Faculty at the iSchool, and serves on the Executive Board of the iSchool's Center for Advances in Libraries, Museums, and Archives (CALMA).
