iSchool Services & Resources
Advising
Now that you’ve been admitted to the iSchool, you may have additional questions, and iSchool Student Services staff are here to support you. More information is available on our Advising & Support page. Please note that details about registration, course planning, and orientation will be provided in the online Canvas New Student Site in late spring, after you’ve accepted the offer of admission.
During this busy time, our programs experience a high volume of emails. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to respond to these inquiries as quickly as possible.
When contacting Student Services, please be mindful of the following:
- The best contact emails are mlis@uw.edu, msim@uw.edu, or ischoolphd@uw.edu. Using these addresses will result in the quickest response. We ask that you not contact multiple individuals with the same question, which slows response time.
- Allow 2-3 business days for responses.
- The most up-to-date information is always placed on the iSchool website, which should be your first point of reference.
Career Services
Once you start the program in September, you will also have access to career resources at the iSchool. We have a designated Career Services team that provides support in a variety of ways. You can view the services provided by visiting our Career Services page.
Keep in mind your degree will prepare you for a wide range of job opportunities. Visit the sites below to see a list of job titles and our most recent employment survey results. Data us updated annually in March.
You can also watch videos on what some alumni are up to on our Alumni at Work page.
iSchool students also have access to Handshake, provided by the UW Career Center, with access starting over the summer.
Please note that the Career Services team will not be available for appointments with new students until autumn quarter begins.
