Some of the perks of being a UW iSchool student:
U-PASS
The U-PASS is a bus pass plus more. Loaded right onto your Husky student ID Card, the U-PASS provides members with unlimited rides on regional buses, commuter trains, light rail and water taxis as well as discounts on vanpools, carpools and other special offers. NOTE: The U-PASS is included as part of the mandatory Services and Activities quarterly fee, appearing on tuition statements. Learn more about U-PASS benefits.
Intramural Activities (IMA)
The Intramural Activities (IMA) Building is UW’s premier fitness center, nestled on the bank of Lake Washington. The IMA includes a swimming pool, gyms, assorted courts, locker rooms, indoor track, climbing center, cardio and weight rooms and a variety of studio spaces. Members also have access to locks, lockers, and towel service. NOTE: IMA membership is included as part of the mandatory Services and Activities quarterly fee, appearing on tuition statements. Libraries
The UW-Seattle campus is home to 14 libraries, with research databases, study and meeting spaces, computer access and printing. Learn more about the libraries and their hours.
Waterfront Activities Center (WAC)
The Waterfront Activities Center (WAC) is nestled on the shores of Union Bay, the gateway to Lake Washington. The WAC is located on the south side of Husky Stadium, within a short walk of the UW light rail station. From spring through fall, they rent kayaks, canoes and rowboats for single paddlers or groups of up to four. Learn more about hours and rentals.
Technology and Equipment Discounts
Every UW student, staff member and faculty member has an Office 365 license. This license allows you to download and install Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Access, Skype for Business) on up to five computers. Additionally, students at the Information School have access to a wide variety of software for home, in the Information School labs, and in UW’s CRC labs. Learn more about software.

Husky Union Building (HUB)
The HUB supports the Husky Experience by enhancing UW community, providing a dynamic event center, and fostering student engagement. Inside the HUB, you will find:
- HUB Games: The premiere entertainment center on the UW campus and the only bowling alley in north Seattle. HUB Games, located below the food court in the HUB, provides esports, bowling, table tennis, pool, console gaming (X-Box One and Nintendo Switch), and even board gaming. HUB Games also hosts tournaments each quarter!
- ASUW Bike Shop: The ASUW Bike Shop is a student-run bicycle repair service open to the UW community. Bike shop staff and technicians are available to provide repair at reasonable costs. Bike Shop staff also offer training classes throughout the quarter.
- Student Activities Office (SAO): SAO staff encourage UW students to participate in student activities and student government as an excellent way to experience personal growth, meet new friends, share common interests with other students, faculty and staff. You may also visit the SAO to learn about becoming involved with student government through the Associated Students of the University of Washington (ASUW).
- Fall Fling: The Fall Fling concert is Husky tradition on the HUB Lawn and the best way to enjoy the start of a new school year! Fall Fling is presented by ASUW Arts & Entertainment, the HUB, and First Year Programs as a signature event during Dawg Daze.
