Jamie Prins
Jamie Prins is a seasoned product leader with nearly 20 years of experience directing human-centered product and research programs. Currently on sabbatical and teaching part-time, Prins has a proven track record of launching large-scale consumer experiences and managing high-performing teams.
At Amazon, Prins has held leadership roles across various product lines, including Alexa, Kindle and Logistics. Most recently, she spearheaded the global launch of Alexa's first masculine voice options worldwide and led the North Star team, overseeing research, usability testing, and voice design training programs.
Prior to Amazon, Prins worked at Forum One where she managed digital strategy consulting projects for clients in public health, education and technology, including the Gates Foundation and Department of Education. She also previously worked at Razorfish, where she leveraged her expertise in user-centered design to evolve their global site optimization and web analytics practice with Fortune 100 companies.
Prins holds a B.S. in Informatics and B.A. in Economics from the University of Washington.
