The UW iSchool joins the field in honoring UW librarian Steve Schadle (MLS, 1990), who has been named the 2010 Ulrich's Serials Librarianship Award winner for his distinguished contribution to the serials and cataloging. An article about Schadle and the award was recently published in the UW newspaper The Daily. The award is in given each year in recognition of the most distinguished contributions to serials. On March 20 - 21, the University of Washington will present the third annual Pacific Rim Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (PRCCDC), also known as "Geeks Under Attack!" BOSTON -- UW iSchool alumnus Anthony Loum of the Brooklyn Public Library has been selected as the 2010 winner of the Zora Neale Hurston Award.
