    • Pass all required core courses with a 2.7 or higher, or CR grade:
      • IMT 580 Management and Strategic Leadership
      • IMT 570 Analytic Methods for Information Professionals
      • IMT 550 Policy and Ethics in Information Management
      • IMT 500 Foundations of Information Management (required for Early-Career and Early-Career Accelerated students; not required for Mid-Career students)
    • Culminating experience requirement: Early-Career students must complete a Capstone (sponsored industry project or sponsored research project) and typically are able to complete an internship or other research project if they choose. Early-Career Accelerated students also must complete one practicum (Capstone, internship or research project). For Mid-Career students, all culminating experiences are optional.

The MSIM Early-Career Accelerated track requires 40 credits. Residential students typically complete it in one year including summer quarter.
