Students entering Autumn 2016 to Autumn 2018 will adhere to the following degree requirements:

  • Complete required quarter credits:
    • Full-Time MSIM: 65 total credits
    • Mid-Career MSIM: 47 total credits
  • Pass all required core courses with a 2.7 or higher, or CR grade:
    • Set core:
      • IMT 500 Foundations: Information, Communication, Teamwork
      • IMT 550 Policy and Ethics in Information Management
      • IMT 570 Analytic Methods for Information Professionals
      • IMT 580 Management and Strategic Leadership
    • Integrating Courses (Optional for Mid-Career students)
      • IMT 590 Fieldwork in Information Management (Internship)
      • IMT 596 Capstone I: Project Planning
      • IMT 597 Capstone II: Project Implementation
  • Full-Time only: Pass the Capstone course series, earning CR grades in INFX 595 in winter quarter and INFX 596 in spring quarter.
