Currently, there is no simple, user-friendly, and efficient method for verifying elections that can be widely adopted with relative ease. Our election verifier enables independent public verification of the cast vote. ElectionGuard verifier is an open-source, lightweight, and platform-independent system that can be used by any voter to check if their votes were cast correctly, without giving away which candidate the voter voted for.

Through our Google Chrome extension, engineers will have a system within their web browser to facilitate and improve their online job search. The extension provides job recommendations based on a user's skills and the job opportunities they view. Additionally, the application process is streamlined by automatically filling out information.

The Pacific Science Center collaborated with Magic Leap to provide unique and immersive experience to visitors. Project Moonshot is a game application that utilizes Magic Leap One’s spatial computing ability to bring the entire solar system within ‘reachable’ distance to the players. Player’s task is to place planets in the correct orbits respectively. To ensure the accuracy and relevance of the educational value, the game is designed based on Common Core states standards for grade 6-8 students. While the game application is immersive, it is also interactive which requires multiple players to collaborate and exchange information in order to win.

Age Friendly Seattle's Civic Coffee Hour has been an essential informational event for Seattle's older adult population, especially among immigrants and refugees, for the past decade. Now Civic Coffee Hour must expand to Seattle community centers, but participants still need to be able to participate in a live, online Q&A event. We created Postcomet, a solution that integrates SMS into YouTube Live broadcasts, allowing users to participate in the event regardless of their viewing location. This allows people to connect to live events & live speakers though technologies they already understand: YouTube and text messaging.

Our main work is creating a member information collection tool, or a profile builder. As our sponsor uses the Drupal, a content management platform, on their website, our solution is to design a new Drupal module that we can add onto theirs. The main technologies we used in our solution were PHP for the back-end and Vue.js for the front-end.
