myMedDiary

Currently, the medical research world has a serious lack of access to accurate & detailed patient data points in studies that require patients self-documenting by pen and paper. myMedDiary is a digitalized personal diary in which patients can track their symptoms & it’s severity on their phone. Patients and approved medical professionals may then easily view the analysis of the patient’s symptom data through the website portal on any device, simply by signing in with their C-RA accounts. With myMedDiary’s detailed data points & visualizations, medical professionals can make more informed and data driven diagnoses for their patient’s treatment/prevention plans.

Raise Wages Now

Our sponsor, Raise Wages Now, needs a tool for its members to build profiles which engage and incentivize them to answer more questions. Our main work is creating a member information collection tool, or a profile builder. As our sponsor uses the Drupal, a content management platform, on their website, our solution is to design a new Drupal module that we can add onto theirs. The main technologies we used in our solution were PHP for the back-end and Vue.js for the front-end.

This project aims to create a holistic user evaluated digital experience that could improve students’ experience and journey of choosing from their career options and appropriating steps they should take to reach their goals.

Seattle Children's Hospital Website Enhancements

Seattle Children’s Hospital offers many resources that can make a significant difference in the quality of life for patient families. Ranging from food banks, to gas reimbursement, to unit food delivery, these critical resources are hidden within the information architecture of their website. Our mission is to centralize available resources so families can easily find resources relevant to their situations. The addition of a family resources tab allows families to quickly and easily discover, identify, and utilize the resources available.

Seattle Children’s Hospital Food Pantry

The food pantry program within the Seattle Children’s Hospital offers food to some outpatients and any inpatients families for free. Currently, the staff needs to make updates manually and perform weekly inventory updates based on food availability. A transition from the current physical order form to an online form would benefit from automatic form rendering based on food availability in the pantry and easier food inventory tracking. Additionally, an online application allows for more customizations, such as generating the form in a patient’s native language. Our mission is to make the ordering process as seamless and intuitive as possible.

Solace

In light of reports globally of the impact of COVID-19 stay-at-home mandates on abusive relationships, our team has taken on the information space of domestic abuse and violence for our culminating Capstone project. Those experiencing violence and abuse in close quarters no longer have easy access to traditional resources and support services. To help alleviate this information access gap, our team has created and developed a iOS mobile app called Solace, which, equipped with robust cloaking mechanisms, acts as a comprehensive toolkit, enabling survivors to securely access reputable resources and communicate with advocates and members of their support networks.

As the collective and its activities grow, so does the need for a centralized location for information. A website offers a convenient and accessible solution to this problem, bringing together resources about the collective and the topic of mental health overall. Through the website built through this capstone project, information professionals have an accessible entry point for joining the conversation about an important area of well-being.

The problem Varmada addresses is how people who purchase products online can achieve a simple and quick return process in order to save time and money. This mobile application is targeted for smartphone users living in urban areas who do not have time to return items back to a drop off center or lack the resources to do so. With few options to handle this problem, Varmada was created to create a seamless return experience. Using Varmada, users can request an item pickup within multiple time ranges and dates that work with their schedule.

True Brands is the leading designer and supplier of beverage lifestyle accessories worldwide, a perfect medium sized for-profit enterprise with startup mentality. Our solution focuses on web development. This web development project includes three aspects, data integration from NetSuite to Salsify, developing sub-brand website frontend framework using the page layout builder, and assess the performance of the current website using PageSpeed Insights and Chrome Devtools. This web development project aims to optimize the performance of True Brand website and drive more profit by focusing on long-term digital success.
