Whether you already have a job or internship offer, or are working toward getting one soon, you should be prepared with a strategy for responding.
Negotiation skills are important to leverage, and preparing a strategy in advance will help you navigate through this process. Offer details such as salary can be awkward to broach, but chances are they will come up in your conversations with employers. This workshop will cover:
- The best time to negotiate and how to respond to an employer that asks your salary expectations
- Asking for more time to make a decision
- Negotiating aspects of your job other than salary
- Considering multiple offers
