Campfire Sessions: Transportation Topics
As the FIFA World Cup makes its way to Seattle and hundreds of thousands of people descend on the city, the ways we use transportation come to mind.
Join the Information School and UW peers to explore the scope of transportation research and applied work taking place across the University of Washington community. Learn how interdisciplinary perspectives and projects are driving people‑centered transportation solutions.
Haven't attended a Campfire Session before?
It’s a fresh, interactive alternative to a traditional lecture. Speakers share brief 5–7 minute snapshots of their work, then shift into facilitating an open, guided conversation where everyone can ask questions, exchange ideas, and learn from one another in a relaxed, welcoming setting.
Check in begins at 5:30 p.m. and the conversation begins at 6:00 p.m. By 7:30 p.m. we'll wrap up and spend some time mixing and mingling before heading out.
Let's talk about the present (and future!) of transportation. Join us on June 10 to lend your voice to the discussion.
