As of 2024, Patricia Devine was the Director, Community Outreach & HEALWA, an online library for healthcare providers in Washington State. Prior to that, she was the Outreach & Communications Coordinator at the National Network of Libraries of Medicine for the Pacific Northwest region. She taught online health information to health-care professionals, librarians and health-care consumers. She also led the Health Disparities Special Interest Group of the Medical Library Association and served as president of the Association of Librarians of the University of Washington for 2017-18.
