Sponsor a Capstone Project
All iSchool students are required to do a Capstone project prior to graduation. They work with organizations to apply their knowledge and skills acquired in academic courses to real-world projects assigned by a partnering organization.

Partner on an Internship
Our corporate partners commit to mentoring students for 200, 300 or 400 hours during an academic quarter. The assigned work should benefit the organization and provide an appropriate learning opportunity for the student.
Students are supervised by an information professional who has time to devote to outlining learning objectives, meeting weekly to discuss progress, and providing mid-quarter and final evaluations of the student’s performance. Students are looking for internships or positions in the following areas:
- Project management
- User interface design
- Human-computer interaction
- Information organization and knowledge management
- Web and mobile app development
- Systems analysis
- Technology management
- Taxonomy and cataloging
- Information assurance
- Information policy and ethics
