Design-Oriented Case Studies: Engaging Students in Tech Policy
The UW Tech Policy curriculum modules prompt students to consider the socio-technical aspects of a setting and to engage in a design activity that involves both technical and policy elements. Students consider stakeholders, values, and co-evolution of technology and social structure. There are four case studies that highlight different socio-technical contexts and provide opportunities to consider a wide range of stakeholders as we design both technology and policy solutions.
