Biography
Dr. Milly Romeijn-Stout is a Guest Faculty Member at the University of Washington Information School, specializing in Library and Information Science. She earned a Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Washington Information School in 2023. She holds an MLIS from the University of Washington, and has served as a Children’s Services Librarian with the Sno-isle library system. She has participated in autism, library science, and early literacy studies at the University of Washington as both a student researcher and a research coordinator. She was the graduate research lead for IMLS funded project Autism-Ready Libraries, and designed the Autism-Ready Libraries Toolkit to provide a free resource to youth-serving library staff. Her current research focuses on how libraries can address neuroinclusion and access for all children and families, particularly in relation to early literacy services.
