The Informatics application for the 2018-19 academic year is now open! Planning to apply? Don’t miss out on these workshops, where we’ll help you fine-tune your application document!

Plan to bring a draft of your application document to these workshops for review. You can find this year’s essay prompts at https://ischool.uw.edu/future/informatics/application-materials. Please note that the prompt has changed slightly from last year’s application.

Current Informatics students who have been trained in exactly what the admissions committee is looking for will be there to assist you and provide feedback!

Workshops will be run as drop-in sessions. Students will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

All workshops will be held in Odegaard 220. The dates and times of the workshops are as follows:

• Friday, Feb. 16, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, March 6, 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Friday, March 16, 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, March 27, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Please note that you can also access help with your application by visiting Informatics peer advisors. Peer advisors are available in MGH 420 on Mondays (12:30-3 p.m.), Tuesdays (2-4 p.m.), Wednesdays (12:30-5 p.m.), and Thursdays (12:30-4:30 p.m.).
