Kate Starbird, Emma Spiro, and Jevin West have been awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace (SaTC) grant of $2.25M for their project Building Rapid-Response Frameworks to Support Multi-Stakeholder Collaborations for Mitigating Online Disinformation.

Chirag Shah has the following ACM SIGIR 2021 conference highlights to share:

• He served as a general co-chair of the conference and was also the founding co-chair of the Perspectives Papers.
• Along with his former student Ruoyuan Gao (Rutgers), presented a tutorial: “Addressing Bias and Fairness in Search Systems.”
