- “Engage Early, Correct More: How Journalists Participate in False Rumors Online during Crisis Events” in Proceedings of the CHI 2018 Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems along with Kate Starbird, Dharma Dailey, Owla Mohamed, and Gina Lee.
- "Drawing the Lines of Contention: Networked Frame Contests Within #BlackLivesMatter Discourse" in PACM on Human-Computer Interaction (November 2017) along with Leo Stewart, Ahmer Arif, A. Conrad Nied, and Kate Starbird.
- Her article titled, “Unbiased Sampling of Users from (Online) Activity Data,'' will appear in the journal Field Methods along with Zack Almquist, Sakski Arya, and Li Zeng.
- She received the following National Science Foundation Cyber-Human Systems (CHS: Small) grant: “Tracking and Unpacking Rumor Permutations to Understand Collective Sensemaking Online” along with Kate Starbird.
Jessica Hullman had the following full paper accepted: “Picturing Science: Design Patterns in Graphical Abstracts” in the 10th International Conference on the Theory and Application of Diagrams (DIAGRAMS ’18). The conference will take place June 18th-22nd 2018 in Edinburgh.
Sandy Littletree gave a talk as an invited speaker in the iSchool Colloquia Series at the University of British Columbia. The title of her talk was, “Relationality and Indigenous Systems of Knowledge: At the Heart of an LIS Pedagogy.” The School of Library, Archival and Information Studies, the iSchool at University of British Columbia, The Institute for Critical Indigenous Studies, and the First Nations & Endangered Languages Program hosted this event.
