Along with the UW College of Education, Automatically Synthesizing Valid, Personalized, Formative Assessments of CS1 Concepts totals $549,857.
Batya Friedman, Ryan Calo, and Tadayoshi Kohno received a gift of $550K from Microsoft Corporation to support their on-going work at the UW Tech Policy Lab. This gift will support a range of TPL activities including the UW Distinguished Lecture Series, tech policy curriculum development led by David Hendry, and policy implications of artificial intelligence.

Annie Searle was the ISACA Puget Sound luncheon speaker at the Columbia Tower Club on September 19th. She spoke on “Malicious Insider Threats and Conduct Risk.” Annie also spoke on Monday at the iSchool orientation for incoming international students on the topic of professionalism.
