Biography

Yuriy Kocharov is a Guest Faculty at the University of Washington specializing in cybersecurity, product development, organizational leadership, and systems design. He is passionate about cultivating effective product development teams, building a culture of trust and collaboration that yield delightful customer experiences through software products. In addition to his work at the University of Washington, Yuriy leads software and product engineering teams at Amazon Web Services (Industry Products), working in a highly (geo) distributed, fast-paced, startup environment to take product ideas all the way from an idea to a publicly available managed service. He has a Master of Science in Computing and Software Systems from the University of Washington - Tacoma.
