Biography

Albert Yao is a Guest Faculty Member at the University of Washington Information School specializing in program and project management. In addition to his work at the Information School, he is an Army Reservist with over 16 years of experience and two deployments (Iraq and Niger). Albert previously worked at Amazon Web Services from 2017-2021 as an Executive Assistant then Program Manager, and currently volunteers as a board member for Allied Extract, a humanitarian nonprofit. He is passionate about disaster assistance and previously volunteered with Team Rubicon, a veteran-led humanitarian organization that serves global communities before, during, and after disasters and crises.
