Biography

Marianne Sweeny considers herself most fortunate to be able to combine her passions for search and the user experience. However, her deep enthusiasm for technology was accompanied by an unfortunate ineptitude at programming. Consequently, she decided to bridge the gap between the people who use and those who develop search systems by designing a strategic approach to search optimization, online demand generation and enterprise search configuration. She is a principal consultant with emphasis on information architecture, user experience, content strategy and search system functionality. She is a frequent presenter at conferences on the intersections of these disciplines.
