Biography
Jonathan Grudin is Affiliate Professor at the Information School and Principal Researcher in the Adaptive Systems and Interaction Group at Microsoft Research. He was previously Professor of Information and Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. From 1997-2003 he was Editor in Chief of ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction and he is now ACM Computing Surveys Associate Editor for Human-Computer Interaction. He holds a BA in Mathematics-Physics from Reed College, an MS in Mathematics from Purdue University, and a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of California, San Diego.
