The iSchool is growing. We are responding to increased demand for research on information problems and for highly qualified information professionals.
The iSchool is hiring multiple positions at all ranks and across disciplines. Successful candidates will join an award-winning, equity-minded faculty with global impact and a commitment to a leading student experience.
We are seeking outstanding tenure-track faculty with research interests across library and information science and information management/information systems. Applicants will be considered for assistant, associate and full professor appointments, commensurate with experience and qualifications. For priority consideration, submit your application by the end of November.
We are also hiring teaching faculty focused on data, code and information. For these positions, only a bachelor’s degree is required if paired with work experience in a technical role. Successful candidates will have a passion for teaching and possess significant technical expertise in one or more of the following: cybersecurity, data science, databases (relational and non-relational), full-stack web development, information visualization, mobile app development, networking, and software engineering. Applications will be reviewed in multiple rounds, the first closing in November.
Each year, the iSchool hires a slate of guest faculty to support our programs. These positions do not require a Ph.D. and professional experience is highly preferred. These faculty members teach a variety of subjects across our bachelor’s and master’s degree programs and have expertise in a range of disciplines within the library, information and technology fields.
