Leadership, community-building and academic achievement are the qualities embodied by each of the graduating students winning a 2014 iSchool Award. The awards were conferred at the iSchool Convocation on Sunday, June 15, 2014.
Each program selects two graduating students to win this highest honor: one award is conferred by the graduating cohort and one from the faculty who teach in the program.
Informatics
Ashish Chandwani (far right photo, pictured second from left) won the Eisenberg Award, named for Mike Eisenberg, professor and dean emeritus and presented on behalf of IUGA (Informatics Undergraduate Association)
Janella Ignacio (far right photo, pictured left) won the Faculty Award for Student Excellence in Informatics
Master of Library and Information Science
Lisa Jordan (far left photo) won the 21st Century Award, presented on behalf of ALISS (Association of Library and Information Science Students)
Rachel Price (center photo) won the Ruth Worden Award for Student Excellence in Library and Information Science, named for the first full-time faculty hired for the UW Library School in 1926
Master of Science in Information Management
Lalitha Ramesh (second photo from the right) won the Archer Award, presented on behalf of AIMS (Association of Information Management Students)
Joshua Manoj (second photo from the left) won the Faculty Award for Student Excellence in Information Management
