Capstone showcases the culminating projects of students from the iSchool’s Informatics, MLIS and MSIM programs. In these poster and online presentations, students demonstrate their expertise at using information as a tool for transformation in their personal, academic and professional lives.

The event will feature poster presentations by students and is highlighted by an awards ceremony of premiere projects chosen by industry and faculty judges. Capstone project collaborators include organizations from the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Each project represents a concrete example of what it means to  design, refine and build novel applications of technology that meet the information needs of diverse groups of people.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend: industry professionals and employers; UW and iSchool friends and alumni; students, faculty, staff and prospective students; and family and friends of the presenting students.
