MatchMind – Intelligent hiring tool powered by LLMs, RAG and GraphDB

We leveraged the nascent AI native RAG and Graph Database to develop a resume screening and shortlisting tool. Traditional ATS systems often present challenges for hiring managers and recruiters. Strict text-matching methods may screen out capable, qualified candidates who word their resumes differently from the job description. To address this issue, we employed a GraphDB to uncover latent relationships among entities, enabling a more semantic understanding of candidate profiles. Additionally, we packaged these capabilities into a chatbot interface, allowing hiring managers to interact with resumes and job descriptions using natural language.

Automatic Keywording Investigation

Librarians manually keyword large datasets to enhance information findability in IHME’s catalog. Automating this process could significantly streamline the cataloging workflow. This project documents data characteristics of IHME’s collection to inform an automatic solution. Research revealed that an auto-keywording tool which could process ALL data types would require large investment into a sophisticated computational linguistics solution. This project delivers a practical solution focused on a few specific data types to immediately save Librarians hours of work per data set. The project also provides documentation as lasting evidence for future development and/or funding of a larger Language Learning Model project.

ClearView Assist: Aiding the Visually Impaired in Navigating Cluttered Websites with Generative AI

Team TechTribe identified a prevalent challenge among the blind and low vision community; navigating cluttered websites. Thus, we’ve developed a transformative solution using GenAI. Our browser extension: ClearView Assist enhances web accessibility by decluttering interfaces. By leveraging voice commands, users can articulate their browsing objectives, prompting ClearView Assist to dynamically filter out irrelevant page elements while highlighting content crucial to the user's input. This significantly reduces the time and effort required by screen readers to locate specific details and exemplifies a proactive approach to inclusive design, promoting digital equity and empowering individuals with diverse visual needs with efficient web navigation.
