Partnerships are instrumental to the iSchool’s tremendous success, both locally and internationally.

  • Grants from foundations and private industry fund critical information research that benefits people around the globe and students here at home
  • Organizations hire iSchool graduates, but also provide important internships to students that enable them to put theory into practice
  • iSchool faculty work with colleagues across multiple disciplines at UW and other universities to make their scholarship stronger
  • The UW iSchool is part of a growing iSchool movement that involves dozens of universities in multiple countries, meeting annually at the iConference to share the latest research

iSchool partnerships are built around common areas of interest – research funding, project based collaborations, student recruitment and engagement, and continuing education.  If you are interested in exploring partnership opportunities, please contact Mary Dickson, assistant director of corporate and foundation relations.
