Partnerships are instrumental to the iSchool’s tremendous success, both locally and internationally.

• Grants from foundations and private industry fund critical information research that benefits people around the globe and students here at home
• Organizations hire iSchool graduates, but also provide important internships to students that enable them to put theory into practice
• iSchool faculty work with colleagues across multiple disciplines at UW and other universities to make their scholarship stronger
• The UW iSchool is part of a growing iSchool movement that involves dozens of universities in multiple countries, meeting annually at the iConference to share the latest research
