Thank you for your interest in the Information School’s Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) program. As the only Information School in the Pacific Northwest—and one of the leading schools in the nation—we are proud of our excellent research and academic programs that focus on using information and information technology to meet people’s needs.
The MSIM program offered by the Information School of the University of Washington informs and inspires people who believe that information and information systems are a key part of their careers. The program educates students in leadership, analysis, and technology of information-intensive organizations. Drawing from disciplines ranging from management, computer science, and information science to philosophy, law, and design, the program gives students practical skills backed by solid intellectual concepts.
The Information School attracts students of the highest quality, and we value their diverse cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds.
- The Mid-Career MSIM program is a part-time option specifically designed for working professionals, and the School is committed to the unique needs of this student population.
- The Full-Time MSIM program is a full-time option geared toward traditional students who are interested in opening new doors for career possibilities in many information fields.
