Jane Keefer
M.Lib, 1988
Jane is retired, but still volunteers each week at the Providence Portland Cancer Center library for patients and families. She also teaches and performs folk music, plays with several Portland groups that perform protest and labor songs, and maintains and adds material to her index of recordings and books of tradition based musics.
Michael Maben

Michael is the 2020 recipient of the Renee D. Chapman Memorial Award for Outstanding Contributions in Technical Services Law Librarianship from the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) Technical Services Special Interest Section (TS-SIS). This is the highest award bestowed by the TS-SIS.
Teresa Bateman
M.Lib, 1987
Teresa is a school librarian and also a children's author. Her 26th book, "Ghastly Ghosts," came out recently. Books No. 27 and 28 will be published in 2020.
Charlie Crawford
MLIS, 1987
Charlie is the Executive Vice President of Instruction at Edmonds Community College. Prior to his appointment at Edmonds CC, Charlie served 11 years in various dean roles at Tacoma Community College.
Charlie's community college background includes serving as a dean in four different areas: academic services; business and workforce education; business, learning resources, and English for academic purposes; and learning resources and English as a Second Language (ESL). He also taught at TCC, Lesley University, and City University as an adjunct faculty for more than eight years.
Charlie received his Doctor of Philosophy in Education from the Community College Leadership Program at Oregon State University. He also earned his Master's in Librarianship and a Bachelor's in English from the University of Washington.
Ralph Hayden

Ralph works as a school librarian and media specialist at Parkview Elementary School in Bellingham, WA.
Phyllis Potter

Phyllis retired as owner-operator of an independent bookstore on Lopez Island, and is now a part-time parish administrator for her local Episcopal church and a full-time Borzoi breeder/owner/handler.
Rose Schreier Welton

Rose retired in November 2013 from the Alaska State Library in Juneau, after working there for 23 years as a Catalog Librarian.
Paige Andrew
MLIS, 1986
In September 2023, Paige was concluding an almost 37-year career as a maps cataloger. His first position a few months after graduating was at the University of Georgia Library, where he spent 8+ years learning how to catalog maps. He was hired by the Pennsylvania State University Libraries in February 1995. He earned tenure in 2001, was promoted to Librarian rank (equivalent to Professor) in 2012, and was named Distinguished Librarian in 2018.
He reports: "I am waiting word on whether I will be named an Emeritus Librarian, and hope that the university grants this honor. I look forward to the next stage of my life, including especially being a grandfather to our 9-month-old granddaughter as she grows up and maybe becomes a librarian some day too!"
Janet Hauck

Janet is the University Archivist at the Whitworth University Archives in Spokane, WA. Janet has previously served as president of Northwest Archivists, Inc.
Loren Hagen
M.Lib, 1985
In 2013, Loren retired after 27 years of working as the Head Catalog Librarian at The United Library at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL.
