Rebecca (Beckie) Littman
M.Lib, 1994
In January 2019, Rebecca left the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she was the head of the Music Library, and librarian for music, theatre and dance since 1998, to take the position of managing librarian in the Music & Recorded Sound Division at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.
Over her 20+ years at UWM, she has also been teaching music librarianship and has mentored students who are now working librarians (most in music) at places such as the Library of Congress, Northwestern University, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Westminster Choir College, Kenosha (WI) Public Library, and Princeton University.
Kevin Mittge

As of 2021, Kevin was the adult services librarian and Mapleton branch manager at the Siuslaw Public Library District in Florence, Oregon.
Alene Moroni

In June 2023, Alene made a lateral move from Head of Reference to Head of Technical Services at the Forbes Library in Northampton, Massachusetts. She reports: "I'm coming up on 30 years working as a public librarian (The New York Public Library, King County Library System, and Forbes Library [Northampton, MA])!"
Betsy Chesler

In June 2017, Betsy was promoted from Research Analyst to Competitive Intelligence Manager at Morrison & Foerster, LLP, a global law firm.
Janet Woodward
MLIS, 1993
Janet is a national board certified librarian working at Seattle’s Garfield High School. In 2013, she entered Garfield in the Follett Challenge video contest based on their 2012 All-School Read Initiative, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford.

As of 2025 Janet was appointed as Dean of Library Services at Fresno State University.
Chance Hunt

Chance joined the iSchool as a full-time senior lecturer. After more than 25 years working for the King County Library System, the Seattle Public Library and the city of Seattle, he is thrilled to be back at the UW working with MLIS students.
Linda Kawaguchi

Linda received an endowed chair from the Hugh & Hazel Darling Foundation at the Fowler School of Law at Chapman University in Orange, California, where she is the Law Library director and a professor of law.
She also published a law review article titled "Assessing Academic Law Libraries' Performance and Implementing Change: The Reorganization of a Law Library" 49 University of Toledo Law Review 35 (2017-2018). It is available at SSRN: https://ssrn.com/abstract=3264453.
Mike Marlin
MLIS, 1992
Since 2007, Mike has served as the Director and Regional Librarian for the California Braille and Talking Book Library in Sacramento, an affiliate of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. He continues to serve on the ALA Council as a Councilor at Large and was elected to a three-year term on the ALA Executive Board (2015-18), the first blind librarian and the first staff member of the California State Library to serve on the Board. His son and grandchildren live in the Seattle area, and he fodly recalls his days in the Northwest. Sally Nash

Sally has served on the Planning Commission for the City of Tumwater, WA, since 2009. In January 2014 she began serving a three-year term as chair of the commission.
