Susan Anderson-Newman
MLIS, 1998
Susan was identified by Library Journal as a 2013 Mover and Shaker for her work as an Early Learning Supervising Librarian, and former storyteller, in the Pierce County Library System.
Zoe Holbrooks

In 2012, Zoe was accepted into the University of Washington's Nonprofit Management Certificate program and plans to establish a non-profit organization based on a project that she and her iSchool colleagues developed in 1998. The Talking Leaves Book Giveaway Project collects and distributes books and other materials to Native communities throughout the nation.
Cass Mabbott

Cass is now the children's services coordinator for the King County Library System.
Amy Roberts

Amy recently completed 15 years of service as a children's librarian at the Maverick Branch of the San Antonio Public Library. She is also serving a three-year term on TLA's Children's Round Table 2x2 Committee, reading and selecting titles for children ages 2 to second grade.

Meg Westbury

As of 2024, after a career of working in academic libraries, Meg received her Ph.D. in 2020. Since then she was a part-time lecturer in the MA in Library and Information Studies program at University College London. Meg also was the managing editor of the Journal of Information Literacy.
Elena Bianco

Elena is in her sixth year as the Technical Services Librarian at Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon, WA, and she splits her time between Mount Vernon and Bellingham, where her partner Rob is a high school teacher and author of young adult fiction. For relaxation, Ellen enjoys hiking, gardening, volunteering outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.

Leslie Engelson

Leslie was promoted to Associate Professor and granted tenure at Murray State University.
Lisa Mecklenberg Jackson

In 2013, the Montana Supreme Court selected Lisa to serve as the state law librarian. The Montana Law Library provides access to legal information to Montana’s courts, the Legislature, state officers and employees, attorneys, and members of the public. Previously, Lisa worked as the in-house counsel for Equity Management, Inc. in Missoula, as a librarian at the Missoula Public Library, and as a librarian for the Montana Legislature's Legislative Services Division.
