Catherine Haras
MLIS, 2002
Catherine Haras is senior director of the Center for Effective Teaching and Learning at California State University, and serves as a Distinguished Teaching & Learning Adviser with the American Council on Education (ACE) to research benchmarks for excellent and scalable faculty development. This work aligns with ACE’s larger student success agenda, of which effective teaching is a critical component.
Greg Hatch
MLIS, 2002
In 2015, Greg was appointed to head the J. Willard Marriott Library's new Creativity & Innovation Services department, which supports University of Utah students, staff, and faculty in their interdisciplinary research and productivity, with an emphasis on arts and design, multimedia production, 3D and prototyping technologies, multimodal communication, and experiential learning. In July 2016, after 13 years on the faculty, he was promoted to the highest rank, Full Librarian.
Katrina Henderson
MLIS, 2002
Katrina was hired as the Youth Services Librarian for Chatham County Public Libraries in Chatham County, NC. She started her new position in July 2017.
Takahiro Hisada
Informatics, 2002
Takahiro has been working for Google for the past 2.5 years, and relocated to the company's Bay Area headquarters in 2015.
Ariel Johnson
MLIS, 2002
Ariel just graduated Capella University in 2015 with a PhD in Education, specializing in Curriculum and Instruction. Before earning her doctorate, she was the Puget Sound Maritime Historical Society's Cataloging Librarian at the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI) Library.
Regina Kays
MLIS, 2002
In 2012, Jeannie was appointed as the library director of the Palm Springs Library Center. She had worked for Library Services and Systems, Inc. for the previous 10 years, first as a branch manager of the Cathedral City Library, then as the city librarian for the Palm Desert Library. Jeannie lives in Coachella Valley with her husband, Mike, and is an avid reader and technology buff.
Emily Keller
MLIS, 2002
Emily is the Political Science and Public Policy Librarian at University of Washington Libraries, where she supports a number of social science programs through outreach, instruction, reference and collection development. She is also actively involved in the Washington Library Association, and will be traveling to Myanmar this spring to work with university librarians on information literacy and subject librarianship in public policy.
Jonell Lee

Jonell and her husband Christopher, also a UW alumnus, welcomed Ava Lee into their family in July 2012.
Monica McQueen

Monica has been Head PYP Librarian at the International School of Geneva in Switzerland since 2012, promoting reading, information and technology skills and experimenting with gamifying the library program.
Alexis Meyners

As of 2020, Alexis is working as an independent contractor in online marketing in Spain and has lived there since 2003
