Pamela Kilborn-Miller

In 2023, Pamela was collaborating with national partners on a new nonpartisan iteration of the campaign for the 2024 election. She invites you to connect on LinkedIn.
In the 2004-06 Executive MSIM program, Pamela researched global knowledge sharing strategies via the United Nations to meet the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) for her 2006 Capstone project. After graduation, her U.N. research led to co-founding a global movement and managing a TED Prize-winning project that had a measurable positive impact.
In 2017, Pamela took Akhtar Badshah's "Accelerating Social Transformation" (AST) leadership certificate program at the UW, which led to co-founding a national, nonpartisan campaign to combat disinformation for the 2020 and 2022 elections: How do you know if you can trust the news? What are the 8 Trust Indicators? This campaign also had a measurable positive impact.
Sarah Lester

After 10 years at Stanford University, in July 2018, Sarah accepted a new position at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. In her new role, she serves as librarian for the College of Engineering.
Kenny Lu

In 2014, Kenny received his MBA from the UW Foster School of Business. He currently works for Avvo as a DevOps Engineer.
Joe Marquez

As of 2021, Joe was working as a UX researcher at Zipline.
Andrew Martin
Informatics, 2006
Andrew earned a Master of Statistics from Stanford in 2012. More recently he started working in the Data Science team at Zillow as a statistical modeler for its home valuation algorithm, the Zestimate.
Mahina Oshie

As of 2021, Mahina was working as a genealogy librarian in Special Collections at Seattle Public Library.
Carrie Phillips

In 2021, Carrie had recently been appointed library director for Musselman Library at Bluffton University in Ohio, following 15 years as an archives and special collections librarian for the same organization. She served as interim director for the previous year.
Miguel Ramos

As of 2020, Miguel is working as a Digital Library Project Manager at SPIE – the international society for optics and photonics.
Marjorie Ann Reeves
MLIS, 2006
Marjorie researched and published "A Chapter in Pacific Northwest History" in 2006 and "From Paradise to Hell" in 2013. After graduation, she moved from Washington first to Arizona, and then settled back in her home state of Alabama, where she is very involved with historical groups and preservation. She continues to write articles for historical organizations' publications.
